Have you ever looked in the mirror and wondered who the
person staring back at you was? That's how I felt when I saw my reflection
the other day. I couldn't believe how much I resembled the person in the
mirror.
My name is Qian Xinxia, and despite my last name meaning "money," I don't
have much of it. I'm a 13-year-old Leo girl who believes that happiness is
the key to life. Even if the sky falls down, I always try to stay optimistic
and look on the bright side.
My positive outlook on life helps me in everything I do. I'm a very
persistent person, and I firmly believe that nothing is impossible. Even
when faced with difficulties, I try to remain positive and do my best. I
believe in giving everything my all and pushing myself to exceed my own
expectations.
Confidence is one of my greatest strengths. Even though I may not be the
most outstanding looking person, I know that I'm cute and lovable in my own
way. I'm always true to myself and never try to hide who I am.
However, like everyone else, I'm not perfect. I can be very stubborn and
often go against what others suggest. If someone tells me to go east, I'll
go west. If they tell me to chase a dog, I'll go after a chicken instead.
But I'm working on this, and I can honestly say that I'm someone who is
willing to admit when they're wrong and make changes to better themselves.
In addition to being a positive and confident person, I'm also an excellent
student. I'm not bragging when I say that I usually rank in the top three of
my class. I love learning and have embraced all the new subjects I've been
introduced to in middle school. My hobbies are also quite diverse, and I
enjoy doing things that have meaning. I play the electronic keyboard and
have even earned my 7th-level certification. I've won several awards for my
calligraphy skills in regional competitions, and I enjoy playing chess with
my friends.
So, that's me in a nutshell – a happy, confident, stubborn, and excellent
student who loves to learn and has a variety of hobbies. |
