Starting today, push yourself to do things you've always
been too scared to do. Challenge yourself to do things you never thought
were possible, and climb that seemingly endless mountain.
Many people may discourage you from doing so, but if you have a dream, you
must persist. You may face ridicule, even from your own parents, but you
must not give up. The harder it gets, the more you must push yourself. When
you achieve what others thought impossible, you will have succeeded. You
don't have to do something grand to be great, simply doing every small task
with care is great!
Perhaps your starting point is not strong, and others may laugh at you. But
you should never think that you lack ability. If you work hard, your ability
will surpass those who laugh at you. Don't underestimate someone's ability,
because we are all equal and no one wants to fall behind. When someone asks
for help, it's human nature to lend a hand.
Maybe you feel that your goals are too far away, so try counting them
backward. For example, what will your life be like in ten years? What kind
of ability do you need to achieve that? Five years from now... then work
your way backward and ask yourself how to achieve those goals. This way, you
will know what you need to do now.
Find a motto that motivates you, such as "the road ahead is long, but I will
reach the end" or "difficulties may arise, but I will succeed." This will be
your mental fuel station when you are tired and need encouragement to keep
going.
Remember, we eat and drink to stay alive, but being alive is not just about
eating and drinking.
No matter what challenges you face, always believe that you can overcome
them. Youth is not meant to be wasted, but to be used to strive for success.
We have boundless energy and courage in our youth, and we should do our best
to reach heights we can't even imagine.
