Recently, a book called "Broken-Winged Mountain Eagle"
appeared in bookstores. The book was written by the faculty and students of
a prestigious university in China. They shared the memories of five
"mountain eagles" who had unrealized dreams, five individuals who forgot the
warnings given by nature and stubbornly challenged its laws.
That summer, they came to the foot of the snowy mountains to celebrate their
alma mater's anniversary. Perhaps, nature was touched by their enthusiasm
and did not want to take away the lives of these young people who dared to
climb the peaks in summer, ignoring the warnings. The frequent snow
avalanches were a warning from nature. Imagine sitting in a mountain tent in
July, hearing a crack like the earth is splitting, followed by thunder-like
roars. Through the telescope, you see a white dragon rushing down the
mountain, devouring everything in its path. What would you feel if this
happened repeatedly, like having a meal?
Perhaps, humans are trapped in a strange cycle of thought, often ignoring
nature's warnings or even refusing to accept them. "When humans think, God
laughs" is not just a simple self-deprecating statement.
Nature is a book worth reading, and its first chapter is a warning. It is
like a book of blank white pages, just like the "Book of Truth" obtained by
Tang Sanzang. If we follow the laws of nature and turn the pages with a calm
heart, we can enjoy the wealth and wisdom this book brings. However, if we
go against it, crazily turning every page to satisfy our desires, the paper
will inevitably be creased, and that is a warning! If we do not restrain
ourselves, with a snap, the book will tear apart.
Today, as we read this book, we see the damaged pages caused by our
ancestors, such as the warning left by the ancient country of Loulan, with
the creases clearly visible: the drying up of the Ejina River. We also see
the pages we recently turned, such as the SARS pandemic that raged through a
populous country, while the masked palm civets on the creases scream in
agony. Enough! We must continue to turn the pages. Will your hand tremble or
be as steady as Mount Tai, human?
Humans! If you continue to ignore nature's warnings, staining the pages with
evil thoughts, you will fall into the abyss, and your descendants will
suffer eternal damnation! |
