What if there were no greenery? Without greenery, humanity
would not exist. Imagine an endless desert where people have no homes
because there are no trees, and the land is barren and susceptible to
flooding, destroying their hard-built homes. People die helplessly of hunger
and suffocation. This is nature's punishment for human neglect. As the
saying goes, "Nature nurtures humanity, and humans beautify nature."
Nature is like a loving and caring mother who raises her children tirelessly
throughout their lives. However, instead of repaying her and protecting her,
these children continuously exploit and harm her. This makes her
heartbroken. Instead of repenting, humans continue to recklessly exploit
natural resources and deforest land, causing soil erosion and flooding,
which ultimately backfires on them. When floods occur, they bring great harm
to humanity.
People are proud of themselves, burying themselves in pits for short-term
gains, which is despicable and pathetic. Plants absorb carbon dioxide, so if
humanity's greed deprives the world of greenery, where will it obtain
organic matter? Animal waste will not disappear, and without plants
producing oxygen, people cannot breathe. Without greenery, the world will no
longer have animals. Anyone who has studied biology knows that plants absorb
carbon dioxide and release oxygen. Therefore, some people plant flowers on
their balconies to provide fresh air in their homes. Imagine putting a
person in a big airtight container; they would die from a lack of oxygen
because the container is full of carbon dioxide, which the person exhales.
Breathing requires oxygen.
If several plants and flowers were put in the container, the person might
not die because the flowers would provide oxygen. Without greenery, there
will be no small animals, ecological imbalances, and ultimately, human
extinction. Without greenery, there would be no vibrant colors in the world
since all colors are derived from plants. Without greenery, there would be
no human existence because humans need organic matter and oxygen. People
should protect nature and contribute to it as much as they can. Only in this
way can humanity survive on this planet in the long run. |
