After much consideration, I designed, built and furnished
the perfect house. It is located in an elevated land, neither too far nor
too near a town, with a spacious ground for the house and a big garden. The
house has four comfortable rooms with a well-furnished kitchen and modern
bathroom facilities. Each room is airy, air-conditioned, and fitted with a
radio. The living rooms are elegantly furnished with soft-colored walls that
match the curtains, which were made from the best textile manufacturing
company. The walls are lined with built-in cupboards and a library to house
well-chosen volumes by master novelists.
The kitchen is beautifully done up with special cabinets to stack things
neatly away, and equipped with modern gadgets for grinding, pulverizing or
cutting. In front of the house, there is an artificial pool with a fountain
spray, and a well-kept lawn with luscious green grass. On the margin of the
house, there are some coconut trees, bushes of crotons and exotic plants,
and a few fruit-bearing trees in the backyard. The porch has one or two fish
tanks to add to the beauty of the place. In addition, there is a garage at
the side of the house for my car, cattle, and poultry. I keep a few fowls of
the high breed like the white leghorn, Black Monorca, and Rhode Island,
which provide a supply of eggs and meat. I also have two Jersey cows in the
shed that supply milk for the family.
The drawing room is the most elegantly furnished room in the house. It is
equipped with sofas, chairs, and a central table. The room is lined with
chandeliers that show rainbow-colored lights whenever light falls on them.
The niche for the television is placed in such a way that the room can also
be used for viewing programs. The chandeliers in the room are accompanied by
a marble Buddha I got from Siam and a bronze Nataraja from India. There are
also a few selected pictures by masters in gilded frames.
Having such a perfect house has given me several advantages and pleasures.
The spacious ground, big garden, and artificial pool provide a relaxing
environment that helps me de-stress. The house is designed in such a way
that every room has a comfortable and aesthetic appeal, which is pleasing to
the eye. The air conditioning in each room provides a comfortable
environment, especially during hot weather. The specially designed kitchen
cabinets help me store things neatly and maintain order in the kitchen. The
cows and fowls provide fresh milk, eggs, and meat for the family. The fish
tanks add to the beauty of the porch, making it look more inviting.
In conclusion, I am surrounded by beauty and peace in my perfect house.
Everything is thoughtfully designed to provide comfort, aesthetic appeal,
and functionality. The house is my haven, and it brings me great pleasure
and satisfaction to live in it. |
