A Series of Forgetfulness

In my life, there is a lot of joy, but also quite a bit of trouble. Many times, these small and big troubles can make me very distressed, such as my constant forgetfulness.

Although my forgetfulness doesn't cause any major issues, it does bring me a lot of trouble. I still remember clearly an incident that happened in the third grade.

It was a sunny afternoon. After school, I slung my backpack over my shoulder and hummed a tune as I leisurely walked onto the playground. As soon as I reached the playground, I saw a group of girls playing shuttlecock, kicking it back and forth while shouting loudly, "Keep it up!" It was a lively scene. Since I had nothing to do, I immediately threw my backpack aside and joined their group.

After a while, we were all sweating from the intense kicking, so we bid each other farewell and agreed to continue the next day. At that moment, I suddenly had the urge to take a refreshing shower and wash away the smell of sweat. With this thought in mind, I wanted to hurry back home. But as I looked around, I couldn't find any trace of my backpack. It was then that I remembered I had carelessly left it somewhere while rushing to play shuttlecock!

What should I do now? I was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan. I ran all over the school but couldn't find it. The clock slowly approached seven o'clock, and my mom was anxiously waiting at the door while I searched around the school. Finally, I found my backpack in a inconspicuous corner of the playground. As I ran out, drenched in sweat, my mom had been waiting for over an hour. Seeing her shivering in the cold evening breeze, my eyes began to well up with tears...

This habit of forgetfulness has caused me a lot of trouble and inconvenience for my family and friends. Therefore, I must change this bad habit in the future and make my troubles disappear!
