Home, My Sanctuary

"I love you, my home; my home, my paradise…" I really like this song. Home is the most sacred place, it is full of happiness, and it is a place worth remembering forever. How wonderful it is to have a home!

Midterm exams are approaching, and I am busy studying every day, even staying up late at night. I am currently struggling with a difficult problem. At this moment, my mom gently pushed open the door and came in. She saw my worried expression and asked with concern, "Son, what's wrong? Are you having trouble with a problem?" My mom knows me the best. She can tell what's going on just by looking at my face. I murmured in agreement. Just as I was about to ask for help, my mom spoke with a heavy heart, "You are smart, and mom believes that you can do it. Dad and I are here to support you." After that, she quietly closed the door and left. My vision suddenly became blurry, and I could no longer control my tears of excitement. I saw the love and concern in my mother, and with her encouragement, I persisted and finally solved the problem. My mom's words were the driving force that helped me move forward, and I set sail on a journey with confidence.

With a creak, the door opened, and my dad came in. He walked softly to my desk and placed a large cup of hot milk down, making sure not to interrupt my studies. Then he quietly closed the door and left. I had never seen my dad move so lightly and gracefully. He did it all for me, so that his beloved son could study better. My tears flowed again at this touching moment.

How wonderful it is to have a home! In this paradise-like home, I can see the most beautiful flowers- my parents' smiling faces; I can hear the most beautiful melodies- my parents' voices; and I can smell the most fragrant aroma- the delicious food my parents prepare for me. I constantly suck in the sweet nectar of love, nourishing my healthy young sprout. My parents are the messengers of love in this home. They guide me towards a bright future and optimistic outlook on life.

Home is my haven, and I love you, my home! How wonderful it is to have a home!
