A Portrait of a Happy and Hardworking Girl |
|
I am a girl who loves to laugh and cry. I have my own world, and I invite you to
take a glimpse into it!
Look! It's me, studying hard at my desk! I am very focused, and those who know
me know that I have an unyielding determination to tackle any difficult task. To
me, each problem is like a fortress that I must conquer. I am a stubborn
warrior, and it is my duty to break it down. However, I also make mistakes
sometimes, like the time I wrote "rest" as "body rest" – a slip of the pen that
still makes me cringe.
See! Upstairs, it's me, working hard to clean the windows! I am very diligent,
and my window-cleaning skills are famous. There is never a speck of dust left,
and some people even think there's no glass there at all! When others look at me
with admiration, it feels sweeter than honey.
Look! It's me, helping my classmates solve problems! I am very enthusiastic
about helping others. I always remember a saying, "Like a silkworm, I must eat
my fill of mulberry leaves, and not let a single thread go to waste, even if I
have to boil in the pot." I want to add a little warmth to the world.
I am also a girl who loves to cry. I cannot withstand the wind and rain, but I
am also very cheerful. When I was a child, I couldn't handle teasing from
relatives and friends. Whenever they teased me, I would burst into tears. If I
did not perform well on a test, I would secretly shed tears. But after the
storm, there would be sunny skies, and after sadness, there would be joy.
One of my hobbies is reading extracurricular books. Whenever I read a good book,
it's like I'm riding a small boat on the sea, with the wind in my sails. The
beautiful words, quotes, and proverbs in the book are like sunlight, sprinkling
my soul with warmth. I follow the author's emotions, and my life suddenly
becomes more fulfilling. I can't imagine how dull and monotonous life would be
without books.
This is me, a very special yet ordinary girl. All I need is sunshine, and
everything will be hopeful. With hope, we will be happy. |
