A Winter Wonderland in Germany |
|
The cold winter season was eagerly awaited, as the snow-covered January
brought a fresh start to the new year. The blooming flowers added a touch of
excitement to our journey, filling the air with a delightful fragrance.
After feeling cooped up in school for several days, it was finally time to
unwind.
This was my first trip to Germany, and my first time seeing a castle, so
naturally, I was filled with excitement.
Wow! The fog was so thick! Everything in front of me seemed to be draped in
a white veil, even the bright sun that usually shone so brilliantly played a
game of hide-and-seek. This fog, like snow powder, deeply attracted me. The
heavy fog acted as a big net, enveloping the castle. The moist air on the
quiet mountain path carried a faint aroma of flowers and grass, and a scent
of earth. Trees, flowers, and the castle were coated in a soft shade of
water blue, creating a hazy, dreamlike scene. I gazed at the mist in a
trance and felt like I had turned into a wisp of fog, freely and leisurely
wandering, flipping, rising, and drifting away in the world of fog.
In the distance, I could faintly see the silhouette of the Alps. The thick
white frost on the evergreen needles of the pine trees resembled an endless
white sheet. The snow-covered, icy stones looked like bright angel eyes that
shone brighter than pearls. The bushes had turned into pure white coral
reefs of various shapes. The scenery was enchanting and etched deeply into
my mind.
The castle's intricate carvings and shapes were exquisitely crafted, with a
complex structure that perfectly matched the colors of the Alps. The New
Swan Castle was surrounded by the vast, verdant forests of the Alps and the
rippling lake, immersed in a misty atmosphere. It was like a dream, a
mirage, and seemed to be both present and absent at the same time. |
