A Bad Start to the First Day of School

Today is the first day of school. When I woke up and saw the clock pointing at 6:05, I only had ten minutes left before class! I didn't want to be late on the first day of school, so I quickly got out of bed and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face without even making the bed.

Later, I hurried to my room to change into my school uniform, but I didn't realize that I forgot to button it up. I went to the kitchen to have a glass of milk for breakfast. Then, I left for school feeling anxious. As I was walking, suddenly, there was a loud thunder and it started pouring rain. Since I was in a hurry earlier and forgot to bring an umbrella, I arrived at school drenched like a wet chicken.

When I arrived at school, the bell had already rung. The teacher and classmates had already entered the classroom, and I was the only one left outside getting my name recorded by the security officers. When I entered the classroom, everyone was staring at my wet clothes. At that time, my face turned as red as an apple. During class, I realized that I forgot to bring any money with me, so I had to go hungry.

After school, I walked home alone. Suddenly, a dog appeared behind me and started chasing me. I kept running to avoid the dog, but then I accidentally stepped on a stone and fell to the ground with a loud thud. The vicious dog pounced on my backpack and tore it apart. I pushed the dog away with all my strength and ran home as quickly as possible.

When I got home, my mom was shocked to see me in a mess. I told her everything that happened today, and she comforted me by saying, "It's just a bad luck that happened in one day. These things won't happen again in the future." Sigh, today was such an unlucky day!
