The Importance of Communication |
|
In recent years, the relationship between parents and children, as well as
teachers and students, has become strained. The reason for this is the lack
of communication.
Nowadays, parents are too busy with work to pay attention to their
children's lives. They never sit down and talk to their children. Some
parents don't even know how old their children are, what grade they're in,
or what school they attend! What's the use of working hard, giving money,
and complaining that their children are not sensible if they don't even know
what their children want or need? Without communication, many happy families
have fallen apart, many children have become rebellious, and many have lost
their loved ones!
There was a child whose parents were always working outside. He lived with
his aunt, and in his memory, there was never a family meal together. As a
result, he skipped school and even committed suicide with his red scarf at
home! What does this tell us? Parents think that giving their children money
is the key to happiness, but money isn't everything! The lack of
communication is a fatal flaw in modern life.
Communication is what children, parents, and teachers want most nowadays.
Sometimes, parents may think about having a heart-to-heart talk with their
children, but they don't realize that their children have already lost the
ability to communicate with others. Nowadays, children keep everything to
themselves and don't confide in others. Perhaps teachers try to communicate
with their students, but what's the use? Who will tell the teacher
everything in their heart?
Communication is the best way to resolve conflicts. It's time to put down
your work and have a good talk with your children. Children should also open
their hearts and let more people understand their inner world. |
