The Beauty and Importance of First Experiences |
|
I come to a stop.
I have never seen such towering ancient trees before. They are as tall as a
dozen-story building, with emerald green extending from the tree canopy to the
bottom, and the shades of green are so profound that it soothes the soul. The
tall trees stretch all the way up to the heavenly palace, blocking the intense
sunlight.
Last summer, I came to Danxia Mountain in Shaoguan, and entered the developed
virgin forest. For the first time, I saw the towering ancient trees that were
tens of times higher than the tallest Dahongpao tea trees I had seen before. It
was a novel and joyful experience.
The first time is always wonderful and amazing, but it is not always pleasant.
When I was in fifth grade, I decided to learn how to ride a bike. So, I
practiced in the small park downstairs. As the saying goes, "the first step is
always the hardest." However, I did not expect that learning to ride a bike was
also difficult. Sitting on the bike was like riding a wild horse. When I wanted
to go east, it wanted to go west. Finally, I fell off the "untamable wild
horse." The first attempt was unsuccessful, but I tried again and again. I was
exhausted all day and almost broke my hand. Unfortunately, I did not have the
strong will like Mr. Sun Yat-sen during the time of "the siege of the world." As
a result, I have not dared to touch that "wild horse" ever since.
The first time is truly wonderful. The first time I learned Olympiad mathematics
laid the foundation for me to enter a key high school. The first solo
performance increased my self-confidence. Learning to ride a bike for the first
time made me feel the hardships behind success. Winning the first writing
competition and having my essay published in a book made me love writing. The
first successful big exam allowed me to step into the door of a key high
school...
The renowned writer Zhou Susu once said, "The more first experiences we have in
life, the more colorful and beautiful our life becomes." From my first cry that
announced my arrival in the world, I treasure every first experience and create
a perfect life for myself! |
