On Sunday, my mom took me, my aunt, and my siblings to the beach to have some
fun. Along the way, we joked and laughed while I watched butterflies dance among
the yellow rapeseed flowers. When we arrived at the beach, we chose a spot to
set up camp and started cooking food. The first thing we cooked were clams,
which disappeared quickly as everyone fought to eat them. Then we cooked
noodles, and everyone enjoyed them so much that we finished a big pot in no
time.
Finally, we cooked potatoes, corn, and more. We were all so full that our
stomachs almost burst! After we finished eating, the kids played hide-and-seek,
and some went to pick wildflowers. Uncle Yang took me to the mountains to pick
flowers, where we saw many colorful little flowers, including yellow, white,
light purple, and pink ones, as well as tender little grass. Before we knew it,
it was time to go home, and I reluctantly left the beach, wildflowers, and grass
behind.
On the way home, my mom took me to see pear blossoms. As we walked into the pear
orchard, a sweet scent filled the air. I saw some buds waiting to bloom, some
still tiny, and others already in full bloom. I couldn't help but run over to
count the five snow-white petals on one of the blossoms. That's when I heard my
mom say, "As suddenly as a spring breeze, thousands of pear trees burst into
bloom overnight!"
The roaring waves of the sea, the yellow rapeseed flowers, the colorful
wildflowers, the snow-white pear blossoms, and the delicious picnic food all
made this day unforgettable. I hope my mom can take me out to play again next
time. |
