Do You Remember? The Story of Us

Do you remember that autumn when we first met? In the garden of the community, I greeted you for the first time, and your unintentional smile shook me to the core. With your youthful face, your smile could light up the room. That day, you gave me a small, crude calendar. I remember it was February 22, 2010.

Do you remember the start of the new school term when we were in the same class? One day after school, everyone else had left, and you were the only one in the classroom doing your homework. By chance, your pen ran out of ink, and you gave it to me as a gift. I was so excited that I couldn't sleep all night. You saw how easy I was to please. I remember it was July 15, 2010.

Do you remember that time when it was pouring with rain, and you didn't have an umbrella? One by one, our classmates left, and you were still there. Luckily, my umbrella was big enough, so we shared it together. Along the way, raindrops kept hitting your shoulders. You said the umbrella was too small, so I self-consciously backed away, exposing half of my body to the rain. I wanted you to have all the warmth to yourself. You saw how gullible I was. I remember it was March 7, 2011.

Do you remember the first time I used QQ to search for your account? I found it and hit the "Add as Friend" button without hesitation or delay. After more than ten minutes, you replied, and you agreed. I was overjoyed. I remember it was March 18, 2011.

Do you remember? September 1st. That day, I left school, my class, my friends, and you. That night, I cried myself to sleep, heartbroken.

The four seasons of that year, spring, summer, autumn, and winter, I spent with you. The little calendar you gave me recorded the story of us.
