My Summer Plan and Adventures |
|
Ah... it's summer again, and I don't know what to do! So, I made a schedule and
study plan for myself. For example, I wake up at eight every morning and
practice calligraphy, do homework, and so on. There are so many things to do,
and I am fed up with it! I have to take a break at noon and relax in the
evening; otherwise, I'll go crazy all summer.
Sometimes, I really want to go out and have fun, but I have to get my parents'
permission first.
Fortunately, I enrolled in an art class, and I have to go learn every morning.
In less than a summer, I have learned a lot, but I have only been drawing simple
sketches. Nonetheless, it's easy to learn! Every day, I use drawing to comfort
myself, to prevent boredom and to make myself happy.
The one thing that I will never forget about this summer is the trip to Gu Yuan.
I vividly remember going there with my two cousins, visiting relatives, and
going to West Lake, where we fished, paddled boats, and bought barbecue from a
nearby vendor. We chatted and had a great time. But, I didn't want to paddle the
boat, and they all went without me. I refused to go and waited for them, but
they never returned. I was alone and terrified until my aunt came looking for
me. I was scared and felt empty, like I had lost my way... Although it was a
scary experience, surprisingly, I felt like I had grown up suddenly and was no
longer as cowardly as I thought I was.
I never thought I would grow up or feel more mature, but this summer, I suddenly
felt like my heart and soul had matured a lot!
In this boring summer, I encountered many things, and even though it was dull, I
experienced countless moments of joy! |
