Good day, teachers and fellow students,
Today, my speech topic is about the brilliance of the Orient Pearl - China.
China is a country with a long history and has created a brilliant culture. But
who knows how many brave warriors and heroes are behind it all? Our motherland
China, when being mocked and bullied by foreign invaders, it was these brave
warriors who fought back and sacrificed themselves for their country. They
risked their lives and fought for the nation, and it is their sacrifice and
patriotism that have brought us the happy life we have today.
When the Five-Starred Red Flag is flying high in the Olympics, who knows how
many athletes have competed and won for the country? Liu Xiang, Liu Huina, Guo
Jingjing, and many other athletes have trained their whole lives to become the
best. They have won numerous gold medals in the Olympics, proudly raising the
Chinese flag high. The foreigners can only say, "China good!" They have brought
so much honor to our country, but behind their success is the hard work and
sacrifices they made. They did not do it for themselves, but for the glory of
their motherland.
As the saying goes, "If the youth are strong, the country is strong." We now
live in a time of happiness and abundance, with sufficient food and clothing.
Therefore, we must study hard for the revitalization of our country. Today, we
work hard to revitalize China, and tomorrow, we strive to create a brilliant
future for our motherland.
China, the brilliance of the Orient Pearl, shines brightly in the world. It
illuminates our hearts, and we will continue to make it even more beautiful and
dazzling. |
