An Encounter with the Unknown

I had just visited my aunt in the countryside and was rushing to catch the bus that would take me back to town. As I arrived at the bus stop, I was surprised to find no driver or passengers on board, despite the engine running and their belongings still inside. The bus stop was deserted, adding to the strange sight.

Curiosity led me to investigate the sandy field behind the bus stop, where I discovered footprints leading towards the center of the field. As I approached, I saw a big crater in the sand emitting a bright light, as though from an explosion. People stood at the edge of the crater, looking into it, but not moving at all, frozen like statues.

An old man from the village warned me not to approach the crater, explaining that a glowing, bright object had crashed into the field, and the pull of its light was so strong that it drew everyone towards it. The object had the power to make anyone who looked at it immovable, as though transfixed by its presence.

As we waited for rain to fall, hoping it would save the people, the old man and I watched as the bright light grew weaker and eventually disappeared. At that moment, the people started to come back to life, with no knowledge of what had happened to them. They were all busy talking about the crater, unaware that their lives had been frozen by an unknown force.

Upon looking into the crater, I saw a smooth globe inside it, but the rain had wiped out its power. The old man and I agreed not to tell the passengers the truth about the incident, as they were better off not knowing, and they might not even believe us anyway. The mysterious bus stop incident left me with an unforgettable experience of encountering the unknown.
