Fill in each blank with a suitable word.

Swimming is an excellent form of exercise for the young and old. It works all the ___1___ muscles in the body all at the same time. Due to the fact that it is an activity that is ___2___ out in the water, it is a very low impact sport, hence making it suitable for the elderly or for people with injuries. It is also very relaxing and a good way to ___3___ the stress in our bodies.

Jerry's favorite sport was swimming. He enjoyed the ___4___ of the water in contrast with the sweltering heat and the feeling of buoyancy it gave him. His favorite part was when he was underwater and the water just ___5___ out all the noise and sounds around him. It felt so tranquil and calming. Every Monday and Friday, Jerry would go down to the pool for at least an ___6___ to swim. Those were the days when he got off from work early. The pool would usually not be so___7___ yet.

Yesterday, Jerry was at the public pool in his housing ___8___. He was surprised that when he arrived, there was a big group of school children having swimming lessons there. Wanting to ___9___ the ruckus, he decided to head to the other ___10___ of the pool. He started out with a few relaxing laps to warm himself up. After his third lap, when he got up for a ___11___ of air, he realized that he was surrounded by children. Apparently, the group of children whom he saw at the other end of the pool had dispersed into several smaller groups for their lessons, and one of them had come over to where he was. Jerry tired to ignore them but the fact that there were so many of them made it ___12___ for him to swim his laps uninterrupted. Every short distance he swam was blocked by a child so he would have to ___13___. In the end, he was too exasperated and decided to give up his swimming for the day. He got out to shower and go home.

Seeing that he was ___14___, Jerry took his time to shower. When he was clean and ready to go, he stepped out of the toilet with his belongings. He could not ___15___ his eyes when he got out. The school children had ended their lesson as well and the pool was empty once more. He wanted to shout out in frustration.
