I have two lovely birds as pets. They are green-and-blue
budgies named Polly and Sally. Their home is in a shady tree in my garden,
where they can fly freely from branch to branch. The whole tree is safely
enclosed in wire mesh, so they are protected from the cat.
I’ve fixed a wooden box on the tree for them. This is their ‘nest’ where
they rest at night and take shelter whenever it rains.
Every morning, I feed them birdseed and give them fresh water to drink. I
also make sure to clean their nest regularly. Polly and Sally enjoy flying
around the branches and chirping happily all day long.
They are such pretty, lively birds. I love watching their playful movements,
and they always brighten up my day. I never feel bored when I spend time
with them. I truly love my pets. |
