In our childhood, we often referred to teachers as diligent
gardeners, and ourselves as the flowers nurtured by their careful watering. As
time passed, we learned to praise teachers with the saying, "The silkworm toils
until death, and the candle's tears dry only when it has turned to ashes."
Teaching is a great profession. People often say that being a teacher is
desirable — with high salaries. But who truly knows the price they pay behind
the scenes? Teachers often suffer from throat infections, sacrificing their
physical well-being to cultivate future pillars of the nation. Such selfless
dedication and spirit of self-sacrifice cannot be measured in monetary terms.
Teacher's Day, a day of gratitude. We must learn to be grateful and never forget
our indebtedness to our teachers. In our childhood, most of us were afraid of
teachers because they were strict. Even the slightest mistake would result in
punishment, ensuring we wouldn't dare repeat it. As we grew older, we admired
teachers because they invested excessive energy in us students, sometimes
neglecting their own children and parents. They are not only our teachers but
also parents and children themselves. Even when their family members fall ill
and are hospitalized, teachers still show up in the classroom, patiently
teaching us despite their heartfelt concerns. They have sacrificed too much for
us, and this bond is worth remembering for a lifetime.
This year marks the 27th Teachers' Day. On this annual occasion, we should give
our teachers an unforgettable gift. This gift doesn't need to be extravagant; a
piece of paper and a pen are sufficient. Write your blessings, aspirations, and
determination on the paper... that's all it takes. For teachers, this is the
best gift they could receive. They never expect anything in return from us; they
only hope that we can succeed and contribute to our country. They are truly
selfless.
Teachers, they are both admirable and heart-wrenching. As Teachers' Day
approaches, on behalf of all students, I sincerely wish our teachers: "Thank you
for your hard work. May you have good health, constant laughter, and may the
fragrance of your students' achievements fill your lives!" At the same time, we
promise you that we will not let you down; we will undoubtedly become the
pillars of our nation! |
