Get along well !!!
Isaac I have a small family. They are my parents, my younger brother and me.
Natasha I thought you were the only child in the family. Didn't China practice the one-child policy in the early 1980s ?
Isaac Yes, it did. But my parents are ethnic minority people. It's a preferential policy for an ethnic minority family to have two children.
Natasha Interesting. What do you think about families with only one child ?
Isaac The child must feel very lonely. My younger brother is 10 years younger than me. Before he was born, I used to be the only child and always dreamed that I would have a younger sister or brother one day.
Natasha Do you get along well with each other ?
Isaac Yes, we are very close. He is 12 years old now and very smart. He always makes us laugh a lot.

Explanation :

Get along - If two or more people get along, they like each other and are friendly to each other

Example : I don't really get along with my sister's husband.

Get along well

It doesn't make any sense

Worn me out

Get caught in the rain

Stood the test of time

Classical music is too heavy for me

Scared out of my wits

Speak the same language

It's supposed to clear up ...

Hold my own

You look in the pink

They will work wonders

I'm hunting for a new one

What are you up to ?

They were sold out

Blow a fuse

Stand it

It was pouring buckets

Weather will settle down soon

They are good company

Time and effort pay off

I've landed a job

Pack their bags

He asked me out

Put on some weight

I hardly slept well at night

Before it gets sold out

A menace to society

I long for some hot and spicy food

Silent treatment

Let it sink in

Sell-by date

Right off the bat

In the long haul

It's a no-brainer

I got a dozen sit-downs

You are so condescending

Adrenaline junkie

Sound like a broken record

In a pickle

On the same page

You don't get a say

Have a thing for

It felt like a click

Piece to the puzzle

I'm beside myself

Pros and cons

Fudge the facts

A dime a dozen

Cut to the chase

Bus is a breeze

One in a million

Racking my brain

I quit caffeine

Cash cow

The cream of the crop

A left-handed compliment

Wild goose chase

Larger-than-life

Call the shots

In a fix

I'm stumped

Do my due diligence

Pros and cons

Under any circumstances

Back on track

Back and forth

Leave it like that

Take by storm

Go with the flow

Throw a tantrum

Stay on track

Take the leap

Cuckoo bananas

That's my jam

Turn things on their head

Turn in their grave
