The Kremlin expressed its hope that US President Joe Biden's recent verbal
slip-up, in which he mistakenly referred to
Russia losing the war in Iraq instead of Ukraine, was simply an error.
Biden's mistake occurred during a press conference in which he discussed the
impact of a recent uprising led by a Russian mercenary chief.
The Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, stated that they were monitoring the
situation closely and hoped that Biden had intended to refer to Ukraine.
This slip-up was the second in 24 hours for President Biden, raising concerns
about his age among the majority of Americans. |
