The Path Beneath Your Feet

Interstellar changes are unpredictable; the wind is invisible and uncatchable; the towering mountains are unattainable. Only by focusing on the path beneath your feet, marked with countless footprints, can you find true existence and pursue it throughout your life.

Even if the world of life is filled with darkness, you should concentrate on the path beneath your feet, as it is the gateway to your success. The annual "Starlight Avenue" arrives as scheduled, and the champion trophy is presented to a young man named Yang Guang, who is visually impaired. He lacks the typical fortune of others, yet still receives the mercy of heaven. It is not his exceptional intelligence but his resolute steps that carry him forward, even in a world without light. Without any fear, he steadily treads the path and eventually conquers the darkness, welcoming the dawn of victory. Yang Guang is full of optimism, silently interpreting the four words: "Focus on the present." He advises people in plain language that darkness is not frightening; what is truly frightening is not being willing to concentrate on the path beneath your feet and not making an effort to seek the light.

Even if the vast starry sky is mysterious, you should focus on the path beneath your feet, as it is your invincible treasure against stumbling. The ancient Greek philosopher Thales enjoyed studying the dark starry sky, which constantly called to him and fascinated him with its enigmatic nature. Once, while gazing at the stars, he failed to concentrate on the path beneath his feet and, as a result, took a misstep and fell into a deep pit, encountering adversity. He could see what was happening in the sky but not what lay beneath his feet, neglecting the road ahead. Noble philosopher, lower your head and look at your feet, focusing on the path beneath. By doing so, you will prevent stumbling, and you will discover a great philosophy. Former Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said, "Young people, dare to look up at the starry sky but also learn to stay grounded." If we can look up at the stars while remaining grounded, we will never stumble, and our lives will be fulfilled.

Even if the distant shore of your dreams disappears on the horizon, you should focus on the path beneath your feet, as it is the sailing ship that will take you to the shores of your ideals. Now, we have entered the latter half of our senior year in high school, and many people find themselves lost and in pain. A single less-than-ideal exam can leave them emotionally drained and directionless. They gaze longingly at the distant "college entrance examination," a mountain peak that both excites and terrifies them. How many people are intimidated, lacking the courage to move forward, feeling that it is unattainable and insurmountable. But I want to say, "Classmates, retract your bewildered gaze fixed ahead! Lower your head and concentrate on the path beneath your feet, step by step! In the near future, we will surely ascend the peak of the 'college entrance examination' and overlook the brilliant life! Focus on this path, even if the ideal seems unreachable. If you walk this path well, you will harvest a unique life!"

The path lies beneath your feet! Lu Xun once said, "There was no road in the world; when many people walk, a road is made." Let us use firm footsteps to smooth the obstacles of life, fill in the pitfalls of our dreams, and create a broad road to success!

In this passage, the author emphasizes the importance of focusing on the path beneath our feet, regardless of the unpredictable changes in the universe. The story highlights individuals who embody this philosophy. Yang Guang, despite being visually impaired, triumphs in the "Starlight Avenue" competition by steadfastly walking his own path. Similarly, the philosopher Thales learns the lesson of concentration when he stumbles while studying the starry sky. The author encourages readers to concentrate on their immediate surroundings and remain grounded, even when faced with darkness or distant dreams. By doing so, they can overcome obstacles, achieve success, and lead a fulfilled life. The message concludes by urging individuals to pave their own roads by taking determined steps towards their goals.
