The Joy of Reading |
|
Most of us have read books to some extent. Some people read with their eyes, as
if just skimming through; some read with their heart, as if trying to absorb the
book into their soul; some read every day regardless of their schedule, while
others read only when they have free time. Time slips away as we immerse
ourselves in books...
As human beings evolve and technology advances, our lives are inseparable from
books!
Let me talk about myself. I also love reading books very much. However, because
I am still young, there are many books that I cannot understand, and I often
read them in a distorted way. For example, when I read a thick book, I don't
read it in order from beginning to end. Instead, I skip around, reading only the
parts that interest me the most. Sometimes, I read it from the beginning, and
other times, I read it backwards, just like a novice monk reciting sutras
without much thought.
When I first started reading, I was not interested in the content of the books.
I read for the purpose of writing essays and memorizing them. But over time, I
was deeply attracted and inspired by the colorful world and diverse characters
in books, and gradually came to appreciate the joy of reading.
I realized that building my own sky, broadening my horizon, increasing my
knowledge, and fully expressing myself in the vast sky while exploring and
creating, was our ultimate goal.
Dear classmates, perhaps you have already achieved success in pursuit of
excellence in your broad sky; or perhaps you feel confused and limited in your
narrow sky. In either case, read books! Reading is the key to success, and it
will pave the way for your success.
A good article is like a bright light, and a good book is like a treasure trove.
They teach me how to learn and how to be a better person, allowing me to grow
and develop.
I love books, and I love reading. So let's read more books and create our own
unique sky. |
