Getting to Know Yourself Better: Discovering Your Strengths and Weaknesses

Understanding who you are is the first step to unlocking your true potential. It's important to take some time to evaluate yourself so that you can have a realistic picture of who you are. In my case, I know that my determination is one of my greatest strengths. When I was in primary school, I wanted to join the netball team, but I was just an average player. However, I was inspired by my sister who played for the Malaysian team, and I decided to work hard to become a better player. I trained every day after school, and my hard work paid off when I was selected to play for the national team. This experience taught me that with determination and hard work, I can achieve anything I set my mind to.

Another strength that I have is my loyalty. Although I may be quiet and reserved, I am always there for my friends. I believe in standing up for what is right and being sincere in all my actions. I will never betray the trust of my friends, and I will always be there for them no matter what.

However, I also have weaknesses that I need to work on. One of my weaknesses is my hot temper. When I get angry, I tend to lose control and become very emotional. I know this is not a good trait, and I need to learn to control my emotions better. Another weakness that I have is my laziness. Although I am a national netball player, I can be lazy when it comes to doing things around the house. I need to learn to be more responsible and helpful at home.

Despite my weaknesses, I still believe that I am likeable and have a positive self-image. Evaluating myself honestly has helped me accept who I am and work towards becoming a better version of myself. Remember, getting to know yourself better is the first step towards unlocking your true potential.
