My Understanding of Happiness |
|
I used to envy the noble temperament of princesses, the majestic demeanor of
kings, the stunning beauty of goddesses, and the virtuous character of people.
To me, they were like the shining sun and moon, dazzling and eye-catching, but
sometimes so distant and unattainable. However, now I am proud to say that I
don't envy anyone anymore. Instead, they should look at me with envy for the
happy things that happen in my school life.
As I opened my groggy eyes, everything was so blurry. I had to force myself to
get up, annoyed and upset. After taking a few bites of food, I put on my school
uniform and headed towards the campus. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring a pen.
But as God always comes to our aid at the right moment, before the roulette
stopped spinning, no one could pass judgment.
Frantically waiting for help, a tall and familiar figure suddenly appeared
before my eyes - it was Liu Zhaochen. At that moment, I felt like a frog at the
bottom of a well, finally seeing the light of day. No one knew me better than
Liu Zhaochen, and he quickly noticed that something was bothering me. He eagerly
asked if I had a fight with a friend, but I shook my head. He made a few guesses
but couldn't figure it out. I was about to reveal the answer when he guessed it
right - my frustration. He then took out a pen that was as light as a feather
but as heavy as a mountain. To most people, it was just an ordinary pen, but in
my heart, it was the embodiment of happiness.
Everyone's mindset and understanding of happiness are different. Some may feel
happy when they receive encouragement from teachers or parents, while others may
feel happy when they achieve a remarkable result. To me, happiness is the
feeling of being surrounded by people who genuinely care for you when you are
down and out. It's the kind of happiness that comes from a simple greeting, a
smile, or a gesture towards a friend. It's the kind of happiness that spreads to
those around you when you give them a rose and leave them with a sweet
fragrance. This, too, is a kind of happiness. |
