A Journey in Space |
|
I said, "What do we do if we lose gravity?" Zizi replied, "With the technology
on our planet, astronauts can be weightless in space and move around just like
on the ground. Speaking of walking, why is the gravity on your planet so strong?
It's so difficult to walk!" I said, "The gravity on our planet is just like
that. Is the gravity on your planet lower?" Zizi said, "Yes! The gravity on our
planet is lower than the gravity on your planet." (So, the gravity is different
on their planet too!)
I said, "Let's fly around the earth a few times first! I haven't seen the entire
earth from space yet!" Zizi said, "Okay." (I can finally see the panoramic view
of the earth from space. It's amazing!)
The earth looks really beautiful from space, with thick layers of clouds
covering it. However, you can see the blue oceans, which look like a crystal
ball, and are very beautiful. (The earth is truly beautiful. We must cherish
it!)
While flying in space, we suddenly saw a huge object floating in space. Zizi
asked me, "What is that thing? It doesn't look like the spacecraft on our
planet! It looks like something made on your planet!" I thought for a moment and
said, "That's the International Space Station from our planet! I remember seeing
it last time. It weighs about 423 tons, is 108 meters long and 88 meters wide
(including wingspan), and orbits at an altitude of 397 kilometers. The
atmospheric pressure inside the manned cabin is the same as on the surface of
the earth and can carry six people. After completion, the total mass will reach
438 tons, and it will be 108 meters long." Zizi said, "So your planet also has
such a huge thing in space!" I said, "Yes." (I didn't realize the International
Space Station was so large. It's much bigger than I imagined!)
While flying in space like this, a red light suddenly lit up in the spacecraft. |
