Mother-Daughter Snowy Bond
In the early morning, I got up and pulled open the curtains, revealing a
sparkling world before my eyes. When I saw these pure white snowflakes,
I couldn't wait to dive into this snowy world.
My mother saw me off at the door and repeatedly reminded me to be
careful on the way. I was too absorbed in admiring the snowscape and
naturally found my mother's nagging annoying. Without looking back, I
headed out on my way, saying, "Just go back, you're really annoying!"
"Mom, hurry, pull me and let's run!"
In the snowy field, a young mother was running with her little daughter,
laughing. Suddenly, the mother slipped and fell in the snow. I hurried
over to help her up, but she ignored herself and immediately helped her
daughter who was sitting on the ground. The daughter, understandingly,
patted the snow off her mother's hair and gently asked, "Mom, does it
hurt?" The mother smiled from the bottom of her heart, a smile that was
so comforting.
As I watched the mother and daughter tightly embracing each other in the
swirling snowflakes, a scene similar to ten years ago immediately
flashed in my mind: back then, I had also obediently patted the snow off
my mother and supported her as she walked. But now, on the same snowy
day ten years later, I only cared about my own interests and ignored my
mother's concern. Perhaps my mother didn't pay attention to my words,
but at seventeen, I should understand the hardships of parents because
in their eyes, I will always be a child who never grows up.
Perhaps the young mother who fell just now was seriously hurt, but her
daughter's simple question, "Mom, does it hurt?" had already alleviated
her pain. No matter how cold the outside world is, a warm current will
also surge in one's heart. This is the most touching consolation in the
world, and it is the purest and truest emotion, just like snow.
Snowflakes are drifting, and I watched the mother and daughter walk
away. I urgently turned around and wanted to go home to say to my
parents, "Dad, Mom, the snow is heavy and the road is slippery, be
careful!" |
