Among all the subjects I learn in school, Geography is my
favorite. It is the one subject that helps me understand the world around
me—its landscapes, climates, cultures, and economies. Through Geography, I
learn about vegetation, how people live, agricultural practices, and the
factors that shape a country’s economy.
Geography takes me on a journey across the globe, introducing me to
countries near and far, even if I may never visit them in person. By
studying maps, climates, and lifestyles, I gain a vivid picture of what life
is like in different parts of the world.
I’m especially curious about countries that experience snowfall in winter. I
often wonder what it feels like to live in a land blanketed with snow,
wearing thick coats and boots, and surrounded by fir trees. It’s a world so
different from the tropical climate I’m used to.
Desert regions are equally fascinating to me. The thought of vast, dry lands
stretching endlessly under the blazing sun, with barely a tree in sight,
fills me with awe. I admire the people who adapt to such harsh conditions,
travelling across hot, sandy landscapes on camels and relying on small oases
with a few palm trees for survival.
Even the food I enjoy every day, like butter, cheese, fruits, and bread made
from wheat, connects to Geography. I’m eager to learn how these products are
made, where they come from, and how they reach our stores and homes from
different parts of the world.
The more I study Geography, the more I understand the forces of nature, such
as the changing weather, the monsoon seasons, and how deserts are formed.
Geography doesn’t just teach me about places—it helps me see the bigger
picture of how our world works. |
