especially with individuals of different races. Therefore, many benefits will be
obtained by someone who masters other languages besides the mother tongue.

someone to communicate or connect with others. This is because someone will be
more confident to talk to anyone. For example, by mastering English, someone can
tell tourists about the interesting places and the attractions in our country.
As a result, tourists feel more appreciated and will be more interested in
visiting our country. Someone will also understand the psychology and cultural
heritage of certain individuals better. On the other hand, without mastering
various languages, someone finds it difficult to help even though they still
have the intention to help. As a result, tourists will have negative thoughts
and may think that we are not friendly and arrogant. Clearly, by mastering
various languages, we can communicate more effectively and exchange thoughts and
information with each other.
In addition, by mastering various languages, someone can more easily gain
knowledge. This is because various knowledge in the world is written in various
languages, especially English, which is the world's main language. By gaining
various knowledge, someone will be more respected, viewed highly, and not
considered a frog under a coconut shell. For example, to increase knowledge in
the field of Islam, someone must master Arabic, which is the language of the
holy book of Al-Quran. Meanwhile, for students, they can more easily make
references whether through books or the Internet.
Another benefit of mastering various languages is the ability to expand job
opportunities. Many companies today are looking for individuals who are fluent
in multiple languages as a way to communicate with clients from various
countries. For example, a person who is fluent in both English and Spanish will
have a greater chance of getting hired by a company that has clients in Spain
and Latin America. Also, knowing a foreign language can make a person more
valuable to an organization and may lead to promotions and career advancements.
